A doctor should trust in God when treating patients. He should endeavor to identify the illness and ask all questions that will lead him in the right direction before settling on a treatment. If you can treat an illness through diet, do not prescribe medication; if you can treat it with a simple medication, do not prescribe a composite one.
على الطبيب أن يعتمد على الله في معالجة مرضاه، وعليه أن يجتهد في معرفة المرض، ويسأل عن كلّ ما من شأنه أن يدلّه على الصواب قبل أن يحدّد الدواء.... مهما قدرت أن تعالج بالأغذية؛ فلا تعالج بالأدوية، مهما قدرت أن تعالج بدواء مفرد فلا تعالج بدواء مركّب.
